The Greater Sarasota Junior Golf Association is a non-profit organization comprised of volunteers and golf professionals, in partnership with local golf facilities, whose mission is to “OPEN THE DOORS TO THE WORLD OF GOLF FOR JUNIORS” through instruction and competitive golf programs.  The GSJGA stresses learning the basic fundamentals of the golf swing, etiquette and rules, and sportsmanlike conduct.  The organization provides access to professional instruction, supervised play with peers, affordable play at area golf courses, opportunities for competitive excellence and the encouragement of sportsmanship, skill, academics and fun – developing both the competitive golfer and the young person who enjoys the game for its life-long recreational and social benefits.
